I'm *almost* done with the disability paperwork

This has been a long project. I sat down to upload the documents to the portal and wouldn't you know they are formatted as Word documents and the insurance company doesn't accept those. I called my ex to see what I should do. I try not to call him when he is at work but I really didn't know what to do and was about to have a meltdown. He immediately said to just send everything to him and he would convert it all into PDFs. It took him fewer than 5 minutes to do that and send them back. Phew. He truly has been a lifesaver over the past few weeks--from the moment I was admitted to the ER to just now with the Word documents. I am going to have to put some serious thought into a thank you gift for him. For now, though, I've got documents to upload.
