Any Good News Today?

Any good news come into your life today?
I have a suspicion of a possible good news tidbit from work.
I hope that I won't jinx it, but I noticed that I received an email with an invitation to a meeting mid-week next week. It did not seem genuine, and I don't mean that it was spam. I am thinking that they will be giving out the first quarter epic award. Our fiscal year begins in December, so the first quarter recently ended.
I reached out to a friend who has also received this award, and I know for a fact will receive it again. She has the same meeting in her schedule for next week. She messaged me back and I just said hmmmm, and she said, oh its you and I again for that award. 
I could not be in better company.
And then like that wasn't amazing enough, I just received word from a friend. A sweetheart kind of friend, if you know what I mean. They thanked me for a favour that I did. And the favour worked-which I am thankful for, as are they, but to be thanked was amazing. 
And last but not least......when I logged into our online banking this morning, I saw that our tax return had been direct deposited into our account. Hurrah for small and not terribly slow, miracles.

Yay! That sounds like a day chock full of good news! I guess the best news was that my BP was perfect at the doctor's office, and it was pretty warm this afternoon. I could have left the coat in the car.

I did receive some good news today when I received an email that a claim for a lawsuit against a local hospital in Lake Charles sent me some money as a result of another company suing the hospital for unknown reasons,

That’s so exciting! You deserve to be recognized, that’s for sure. I can’t wait to hear about it when it happens.
I can’t think of any good news I got today, but it sure is encouraging to hear about good things happening to other people. Especially when they deserve it.

Wohooo! Congratulations to you!
It's great to receive good news one after another. I haven't received any today, yet. It's early in the morning. Hopefully, when I track my parcel I would see some good news.

Sure did, got to cash out again on Vocal Media and it means people enjoy reading my stuff and Vocal Media appreciates me by giving me a $5 bonus for another Top Story so it was a good day,

Your little tidbit at work does sound like you're going to be an award (well deserved I'm sure).
You day sounds like it was well filled with good news.
I don't have any good news to share but I don't have any bad news either. Guess no bad news is good news

My goal is to get this Epic Award for all 4 quarters.
The trip that I'm taking next month is as a result of that same award.
I have some grandmotherly advice to ask of you.
After our DIL finished working today, Willow ran to her, and told her that she misses Nanny and wanted to come and see me. Grandpa explained that after working I am tired, but I do need to plan some time with them. Willow loves to bake and cook, and I was thinking of baking cookies with them and letting them decorate them. But I wondered if you did anything over the years with your grands that was special and made a special memory. I thought about going to Crock-A-Doodle to do some pottery, but I'd like to do something together here.

Good news is rare for me but it might be that my dental insurance will cover my dental needs, that would be fantastic.
Then today as I was checking where to get new wipers for my car I found a place that gave me a 5% discount, it's not much but I was happy about it.
That's about all in my court, maybe I'll win something??? Hey, I can dream........

Hey windshield wipers ARE a big deal to me.
I never ask my hubby to replace them, nor the dealership.
I go to a drive through oil change place and they have Bosche wipers there that they install right for you.
I was driving us somewhere one day and asked my hubs if we had time for a quick stop, and he was surprised that I knew something about wiper blades and that I knew where to get the very best ones.

Omg yes good news indeed Julia
Actually really good news
Our energy provider gave us a second payment of £150 in the last 3 months
Means I haven't needed to spend much on electricity and gas at all
I couldn't believe it
In a shop
Phone pinged
Two messages about it
Got home checked meters right enough £150 had been credited to our meter
How good is that
Our home is right up there in the energy efficiency ratings so money goes further anyway
