Are you a hot sleeper?

Ever since I was a child I was a hot sleeper. I would wake up with a damp pillow. I’ve often wondered if I’ll recognize menopausal hot flashes since I frequently wake up hot and sometimes soaked. I recently got cooling pillow cases to review, and I absolutely love them. I no longer have to turn over the pillow during the night to the dry side. Is anyone else a hot sleeper?

Yes, I sweat in my sleep and I use a fan every night when I'm sleeping

One night, I woke up and my hair was so soaked I thought the roof was leaking.

Depending on the weather I do get sweated on the pillows and my sheet.

I alternate between hot and cold on any given night

I'm a light sleeper, any small sound I'm awake, that just me!

Oh that happens even when there's an ac on? That rarely happens to me and only when the ac is turned off. Which is rare these days coz I always have the ac on.

I was until I started taking the medication for my thyroid. I still like a fan pointing at me while I'm asleep but may pull a blanket over my middle instead of getting up and turning the fan off. We turned the air conditioner on when it started getting really hot Friday but Pretty turned it off when she went to bed. My bedroom was 80F before I noticed it and turned the air back on again.

I wish my thyroid medicine fixed it for me. They test my thyroid every once in awhile so I assume it is the right dose. You’ve got to have the air on the weather of yesterday and today. At least I think so. It will be 96 degrees today, and I’m thankful for my air conditioner. Although, I’m going to have to talk to maintenance. I think something is wrong with it. I don’t want to go through what I did previously. Two years ago in mid May it took them 18 days to fix my air conditioner that didn’t work at all.

I’m not. If I don’t have a blanket I absolutely can’t sleep. I do sleep with a fan in hot weather. But I’m really cold blooded, especially since I lost the weight. No blankies,no sleepies!! And yes, I know that’s beyond weird. When it’s really super hot I ditch the blanket but due to circulation problems my feet have to be covered or I simply can’t sleep.

Now that my sister lost weight, she’s always cold too.
