We wake up with no water today.
Apparently, there has been an urgent leak repair at waterline construction site near us. The damage is obviously big that it affected two municipalities and it started around 3:00am. The water company's first announcement is that the water will be restored by 6:00pm. At 5:00pm, there is a second announcement that water will be restored by 4:00am Monday morning.
Good thing I have lots of water stored for times like this. It is still a bit difficult without your usual supply from the faucet but at least I have stored water.
I heard in other areas, there are water trucks delivering water supply but the line is long and only limited to two buckets per person.

If there's one thing that I really worry about, it's not having water supply. Fortunately, that has never ever happened yet.
Good that you were able to store water.

@rakski Good thing that you have it. So far our water company never ran out of water supply. Same in the condo. Our condo has hit huge tank for all the residents there and it has never run out of water ever.

I can relate to that, we have water schedules in baguio. So its sucks when you forget to turn on your water jetmatic to store water, especially if you are sleeping or out for that day

I'm glad you thought to store water for an emergency.
Several years ago the water main from the water tower broke here. The homes around the water tower were flooded but we were uphill of the tower so didn't flood but didn't have water, either. The city bought cases of bottled water and brought a case to each house in the city.

@rakski It was nice of them to leave it. We were in the back bedroom and didn't answer the door when they knocked.

I'm glad you have water stored because that would be horrible if you didn't have water.

I hope water supply has been restored. I can bear not having electricity for a few hours. But water? I must have water. Two buckets per person??? I sure hope the bucket size is as big as a pail.

It’s great that you’ve stored water. It’s hard to function without access to running water.
