Can Your Wash and Dryer be a Security Risk?

I am glad that I don't have a lot of devices to contend with. I just read where if you have a device connected to your WiFi they could become a security risk. Hackers can into your system through them. Be sure anything that connects to your WiFi is secure. That can even be your washer and dryer or your lawn sprinkler timer.
Secure it by changing the default admin username and password. Also, set up a separate network for guests to keep them from accessing your amin personal devices.

I do not plan to have anything "smart". I do not see the point, and I realize that yes, they can be a security risk.

Thankfully I don’t have “smart appliances.”

Yes, I agree. The dark web is finding it too easy.
