Do you ever get ticked off when you encounter an AI article?

I stumbled on an article this morning about the "best suburb to raise your kids." It turned out to be a suburb West of my native Chicago.
Only a paragraph or two in, I realized I was reading an AI article. The grammar was fine, but there was absolutely no "soul" to the piece. It was basically statistics converted to English via algorithms.
I got ticked off and decided to write this post. Can you sense my rage?
Do you get grumpy when you realize you're dealing with AI?

I see these things all the time on Facebook, these supposed “feel-good” stories about how so-and-so celebrity A visited a dying so-and-so celebrity B and what they did…and it’s all AI bull stuffing, right down to the picture. But people keep eating it up, and it’s just cotton candy: no flavor, no meat, and it does nothing but rots your mental teeth.

I would have been too. It's been a couple of weeks that I wonder if some members here are using AI to write a discussion. I wanted to start a discussion about it but just let it go.

@toniganzon When people write perfectly but "mechanically," I suspect AI..

Sometimes when a post is too over the top I feel like it’s AI. And I’ve stumbled upon those on FB.

I'm not sure I could tell AI writing. I can always tell AI art, though, and I don't get angry about it, strangely (strange because I am an artist and this can literally push artists out of work, not to mention having been trained on existing artwork without credit or compensation).

@TheHorse lol, I guess you don't follow me? Most of my discussions feature my artwork.

It depends. AI has helped me with some paraphrasing and added some info I could not find but I always double or even triple check. I have never read an article completely done this way.

I did kind of getting annoyed to an AI earlier but it wasn't about an article. It was when I'm raising a concern and an AI keeps giving me an automated option which my concern keep being unanswered. Good thing when I ask for a real agent they redirected me to one.
