Multiple emergency rescue teams which included first responders, the North Carolina National Guard and North Carolina Helo Aquatic Rescue Team used ropes to rescue her after she fell down from a ladder near McRae Peak from a height of 5,800 feet from the peak of the mountain.
The rescue took about 90 minutes to rescue her from the dangerous terrain with the use of a helicopter to take her to a designated landing zone before being taken to a local hospital via a medical helicopter where she is expected to make a full recovery from a leg injury.
The rescue took place on Sunday afternoon. Teamwork at its best once again.

@Deepizzaguy Yikes. I admired the house painters when they painted my house last year. I can't imagine working from a 28 foot long ladder.

@sallypup I know what you mean since climbing a ladder is dangerous.

Maybe she was not experienced enough to handle such a climb.
It costs a lot of money to rescue these people, who are usually a bit reckless in what they endeavour to do, but it was good that she was rescued, and will recover fully.
