Prices have gone up for my coffee

I have to start looking for instant coffee as I just opened my last 7 oz. jar of it. What I usually drink is Taster’s Choice, either French Roast or House Blend. If I am lucky enough to find it I get the Colombian one.
I don’t know what’s going on but this coffee seems to have gone up in price by a lot. Depending on the store it sells for $13.48 and up for a 7 oz jar. This is crazy. And I haven’t seen it on sale anywhere.
I thought I would get lucky and my local pharmacy would have it on sale. That’s where I usually get it. No such luck. Without the sale the price is $17.99. No way am I paying that.
The cheapest price seems to be at Walmart. It’s there for $13.48. I don’t have a Walmart near me I can get to as I don’t drive. To order from there and have it shipped to me I need to get $35 worth of stuff to qualify for free shipping. I hate that they do that.
Target sells it for $14.29. If I go there for the coffee I have to spend $6 on transportation. Not worth it. And if I order online and have it shipped I also need to buy $35 worth of stuff to qualify for free shipping.
Seems I can’t win. Since I just opened the jar maybe I should just wait to get it. Maybe it will end up on sale…

As a big time coffee addict, I have definitely noticed the sharp increase in prices. And I'm not happy about it at all. I gotta have my coffee!!!!

I drink every single drop of my coffee when I make a pot. If it gets cold, I heat it up. No way am I wasting it.
Oh, and I have to say that I did get some coffee for Christmas--and so did a friend of mine. If you are ever at a loss at what to get someone who drinks coffee for a gift, get them some coffee!

Lena, it seems like I hear about coffee prices constantly on any news channel. It's high everywhere, instant or ground or beans. If you find a good price and you can afford it, buy more than one. It's not going to get any cheaper, unfortunately.

@TheHorse It depends where you shop at. I’ve been to Trader Joe’s recently and eggs there were over four dollars a carton.

There is no way in the world I would consider spending that kind of money on my hair. There are people who do a great job for a lot less.

@lovebuglena You do get used to a brand though, don't you? However, I've found that by about a week on a different brand I become used to it and am quite happy.

I’ll survive if I don’t have coffee, but I just love to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. I really don’t wanna be without it. If my coffee won’t go on sale maybe I’ll try another brand.

Instant coffee from mars has gone up on price loads
Luckily we drink more ground coffee and pods and capsules and I get all 3 from Denmark at least than half the price of the UK and I free shipping on orders.over.£40
