Snoring

How many of you snore? As far as I know, the only time I snore is when I have a cold. I went on a trip with my sister and her family, and they all said I never snored. Meanwhile, my brother-in-law has a CPAP machine because he does snore, and like a lot of people who snore, quits breathing here and there while snoozing away. My dad also has a CPAP machine. Of course, they do a sleep study to see if you need one or not. Most people feel much better after getting used to them: less brain fog and refreshed for example. Do you guys snore?

I generally don't snore. But there was one time I was told I did and that was when I went on a 4 day business trip with hardly any sleep. So while I was at the airport with a friend, I took a nap and she said I was snoring softly. Probably due to exhaustion.

Yes, exhaustion would definitely do it.

Vince snores if he sleeps on his back or on his right side. I think I might snore occasionally but I've never had any complaints about persistent snoring.

Not since I got my CPAP machine. I used to snore really bad. The last time somebody checked my CPAP machine, they told me I stopped breathing 100 times an hour.

People don’t realize you can die without one.

@AmbiePam Pretty used to tell me I snored so loud that the windows shook in the frames. I can take a nap now without the CPAP machine and I don't snore at all. But I can't sleep all night without it, though.

I don't snore but the other person on the bed does. But that's ok with me.

I remember Mom saying something about my snoring, but I live alone, now so there's no one to bother. My Mom had a deviated septum, and she definitely snored.

No I don't think so. At least the only time I have been told I was snoring was when I had been awake for 36 hours and was exhausted, like @Toni Otherwise people tell me that they can't really tell whether I'm awake or not as I seem just the same (apart from eyes closed of course).

I don't snore, maybe because I'm not fat.

I guess you’re not aware that thin people can snore too. Heavy people certainly are more likely, but you’re going to get plenty of thin snorers as well.

I do, especially when I sleep in an uncomfortable position . I try not to sleep when I am with people.
