If you do not, it was more me than any of you. All my dogs all grown up, some went to heaven, some waiting. This is where I took them. Tristan caught many rabbit and squirrels here.. We used to play rocks on those trails where I would throw rocks and he would chase them. I look back and somehow people always just up on hillside enjoying Tristan Chase Rocks. Hawks and skunks would become his friend before his time was done. Airplanes would try to race him as there is a city airport to the right. Then Brooklyn and Kai and Coyotes. This is their land all that land is the only nature we have and there is signs, do not mess with or go to jail. Broooklyn and Kai running around but they were never as astute as Tristan. I could stand on top of the hill and a random Coyote would pop by. I could take her, but not the big one. Now, you know why we got Kai. This is actually a dry river bed. California decided its in best interest to make a reservoir in the mountains to the right. Its rare these days, but when it rains to much they open the gates and the river comes roaring back to life. Tristan saw it a lot, Brooklyn and Kai not so much. Tristan loved it, I was always worried he was going to get swept away, Brooklyn and Kai were like water, gross. Kai did try to drink whole thing. Kai,. knock it off, you know how much trash is down here. This is our last spot of Free Land In California and its neat as hell. Little Brooklyn would go rolling in all the coyote kills. Dammit Brooklyn, no wonder they stalking you.

I'm sure all your puppies love/loved going there with you. I bet that's what they all dreamed about when they slept.

@crossbones27 You're always welcome. And I'd like to go running with your puppies there! That's a beautiful area to take them for exercise!

That looks such a wild, free place. Thanks for sharing it with us. I can see it would quickly become a very special place.

Thanks for saying wild all that dark black stuff is not the shadow of the clouds That's actually all burnt land. Some recently but most from 2003, yep you heard that right it takes that long to recover in 2003 that whole range was on fire just blowing ash everywhere.

@JudyEv Huh, interesting, getting a bunch of rain? That year was probably the only year I was worried crap, maybe those fires can reach us too and its a good 60 miles away. It was crazy, never seen anything like it. The air quality was so bad you could feel it your lungs but that seems kind of common these days how many wild fires happening all over the state.

@crossbones27 That was a huge area to get burnt. We've had acres and acres burnt in various parts of Australia. Now half the country is under water - well, not quite half but there is a lot of flooding.

Wow, that looks so much like the area I used to see all the time as a kid but now it's all been bulldozed and stupid suburbs are there now instead of nature and wildlife. It's really beautiful.

Its so small and sad, it goes for miles but its so narrow. poor coyotes have one strip left. There is mountains, but that is harsh and a lot more work.

I know what you mean. It's a shame that people can't try to live with nature instead of destroying her.
