What did you like to do as a kid that you no longer do?

Talking to Jim about this a few minutes ago..what did you like doing as a kid, you no longer do? One thing I really liked was tree climbing. I used to like climbing trees, but you never see anyone over the age of 12 in a tree..unless they are hunting or working orsomething. Another thing was rolling down a hill. That was a fun thing to do. I would probably get a huge wave of dizziness if I did that today. I think we got a bit dizzy as kids too, but it didn't bother me. Sleeping in the backyard under the stars..I wouldn't do that here, as there are too many bugs and insects here as compared to where I grew up. However, I could be persuaded to do it elsewhere.. What do you miss doing that you did as a kid?

Climbing trees and rolling down hills was so much fun, I used to love bike riding and swimming. Maybe I should put being able to run at the top of my list

OH I still swim and would ride my bike but it needs new tubes in the tires. Son could fix it definitely.

I miss badminton. I liked to play it alot and wss quite good at it.We had a competitive badminton ladder in a college PE class. I was at or near the top.

@LadyDuck We have mini golf here. Maybe the next time friend comes down when we aren't going in a trup, we will do it.

I could never do a split, or a cartwheel. Somersaults were the only thing I could do..and standing on my head, but I usually needed something to prop me up from behind.

I don't miss it; but I remember playing out in the s**w until my hands and feet were numb. I miss being as limber and mobile as I was back then.

Yeah, I think lot of us who grew up in the North had those experiences.IT was all fun and games til we got snow in our boots..and ended up semi frozen feet.

playing football on the street is my childhood activity that I no longer do. I missed playing football and running around with my friends.

Looking out the window of a car,when i was a kid,if we were travelling or something i would always pop my out of the car to get a good view ,but now it seems stupid.

I liked to make noises with the wind in the car like ahhhhh going down the road fast with my head out the window and with the fan as well. The air distorts your voice.

@snowy22315 yeah thats true it just changes your vocal apperance,then your parents yell at you to stop putting your head out the window,hmmm... those days.

Oh it would be fine to ride a bike around here but just in the development. I wouldn't take it out on the main road. It's a fast highway..No Thank you.

I never really had much of a child hood
