Sneezing my way back to full vigour.

I’ve had an awful back since 11 March when I bent down the wrong way to put something under the bed. I flew to Manchester that day and struggled with suitcases and stairs, and lay on an impossibly bad bed for 6 days. It was sore, and I started to wonder if there might be something else going on, something sinister. I don’t visit the doctor as a rule, but I was coming perilously close to making an appointment. Two days ago I was smitten with a bad cold. The wretched thing travelled about my head - throat, then behind my eyes, then in my nose. Then last night I had a sudden, violent fit of sneezing like I’ve never suffered before, sneeze upon sneeze in quick succession. Each explosion wrenched my entire being and I decided to remove my false teeth before any unseemliness might occur. When the detonations subsided I noticed that my back was no longer sore and remains so. I can even bend. Have you ever been cured in an unlikely manner?

I'm glad the sneezing fit fixed your back. That doesn't happen often, I'm sure.

Looks like the sneezing acted like a chiropractor. I'm glad your back is better; but I'm sorry you have a cold.

I guess the violent sneezing kicked something back into place. I hope your back stays okay now.

Do you have an acrimonious relationship with doctors? Why don't you visit them "as a rule"?

@dreamerby I don’t like people poking me.
