Happy Wednesday Everyone! Not only is it Wednesday but also April 1st which makes it April Fools Day. April Fools Day has 2 special memories for me. When my oldest daughter was a toddler she always called April Fools Day .. Akril Fook

she always made us laugh and even this morning we texted each other with a happy Akril Fook Day message. My second special memory is of my dad. He was a prankster all his life and he loved April Fools Day. No one was safe from his jokes and pranks (some not so funny especially when he pulled them on my mom). Even though he's been gone for 45 years this day brings back smiles and laughter as we remember his love for April Fools Day. I have no intention of pulling any April Fools jokes on anyone today but my guard is up just in case one of my kids or grandkids try

I’m so glad you have those memories of your dad; those are priceless. Back when my mom was sick I played a few April Fools Day jokes on my dad. It was such a dark time we’d take opportunities as they came to entertain each other. For instance, my dad drinks Diet Mountain Dew. One April first I poured 1/3 of the soda out, and replaced it with store bought lemon juice. He opened it, took one big swig, and then made the most sour face I’d ever seen! It was hilarious, and he thought so too.
