The good news for today is that the rain didn't produce ice on the ground. There was some ice on the car, but that's it. I had a chiropractor appointment today. When I arrived, they were in the middle of a power outage. I still got my back tuned up. My neighbor had a wellness appointment today. It went well. It was still raining when we left and when we came home. I got work done on my book, Wilderness Cry. It's still raining. Oh and it's still cold, in the 30s. I put in a work order yesterday for three things that needed fixing. The maintenance lady came by right after I got home. She fixed the kitchen sink faucet, replaced the bedroom light - I had the bulbs. They don't want us climbing ladders at our senior age. And she 'fixed' my toilet. It's been ghost flushing since she left. I'll put in another work order in the morning. Maybe by then it will have stopped raining. We (my neighbor and I) stopped at Walgreens on our way home for basic necessities. I saw a bag of Dove Dark Chocolate Promises with Mint. I didn't expect the mint would be a cream center. I don't like anything in my chocolate. I don't like these Dove Dark Chocolate mint promise candies. So, did anything go right today? Yes. I got my back adjusted. Got what I needed from Walgreen's and my neighbor had a good wellness visit with her doctor. It's been a day and it's still raining. How was your day? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.
