Bob was up but went back to bed

I am busy making follow up phone calls today. I did want to go do laundry, but Bob is asleep. So I talked to the social worker from VA who said the Department on Aging Had been told to contact me at the end of March. She had approved me being the paid caregiver for Bob, if he chose me, which he would. She sent a reminder e mail, but the DOA closes at noon today, so I likely will not get a call back from them until Monday. I also called regarding applying for service connected disability for his hearing loss, and again, I do not know when I will get that call back. Meanwhile, I am heating up some chicken fried steaks, and a baked potato and I made some pepper gravy. This is one of Bob's favorite meals. It will make a good brunch. We will go to Oklahoma tomorrow, just for Saturday and Sunday. I hope you are having a great weekend.
