Good Afternoon - Friday - 3 April

Today is a beautiful day. It's not raining. It was cloudy most of the day, but I'd rather have clouds than all day rain.
Today's good news: I went shopping. I did a Costco trip. I have food. I haven't cut it this close in a very long time. I still had food. Lots of fish in the freezer, and I could still put things together to make a meal, but it was cutting it close. So, praise God, I have food to last a while. I still need to do the major monthly shopping, though with what I bought today, that will be a light shopping trip.
And the ta da moment: I finished Wilderness Cry about an hour ago. It feels so good to have another book finished. This is book 2 in the Wilderness series. It will be a while yet before I publish this series, but I fully intend to when I finish the last book Wilderness Courage. I'll be starting work on Wilderness Call soon. It's already started. I worked on it for the 50K challenge a few years ago.
That's my day. How is your day going? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me. Easter decoration from a couple of years ago.

George and I did a light shop today ourselves. Stocked up on treats mostly. Spent a lot less at Walmart than I thought I would.

I feel you. I talked to a customer yesterday afternoon at work about being a monthly shopper. If anything is out of stock, I usually get it at Giant Eagle. This time around, I'm doing Meijer for some items and Whole Foods for some hard to find items for a try. I'll have at least 35 items and the cost would be under $100 (excluding driver fee.) Not too bad. Happy writing.

Our fridge broke down a while back and we had to throw out a lot of food. We've been stocking up again and are just about back to having a good supply of most things.
