If you celebrate Easter, I hope you have a nice one. Any special plans?
The weather continues its nuttiness.
The first painter came on Friday. He will be emailing me an estimate for painting the house.
Breakfast - Granola bar
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - I'll be glad when Lent is over with...we've been having either fish or stuffed shells every Friday
Stuffed shells, mixed veggies, Lima beans, apricots
Dessert/Snack - Brownie
Dinner - Leftovers from Red Lobster - Lobster dip, clam strips, bay scallops, hush puppies, Brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes
What did you eat yesterday?

Yes they have good Brussels sprouts. I love Swedish meatballs.

Easter brunch got cancelled with my aunt, so will just have brunch with my mom.
That's still good, but it won't feel like easter...
Sounds like interesting meals..

@MommyOfEli2013 I'm sorry to hear that. It was a quiet day for me too.

@LindaOHio Since they weren't, our celebration was cancelled.

I enjoy fish, and I actually appreciate the tradition of Lent.
Too many traditions have fallen by the wayside it seems, and in my heart, I need to observe the practices that I have done all of my life.
Yesterday we fasted with only a meal of fish, no fries for either of us, and no snacks during the day.

@LindaOHio - I know that in the few coming years we would had spent a lot for our house. Knowing my husband's condition I decided that it was much better and wiser to sell, get rid of everything we did not need and relax in a smaller place where we have to take care of nothing.

@LindaOHio - I had so enough to call someone almost every day for fixing something.

I asked Pretty last night if I was feeling better did she want to go out to eat today. Unfortunately, my tummy is still upset so we won't be going out today.
The temp here at noon is 48F, which is okay-ish. I could wear a jacket and it would be fine for me. Our high today is supposed to reach 58F by this afternoon. It stormed hard last night and I was enjoying watching the lightning play across the sky until a bolt of lightning hit the lightning rod in the neighbor's back yard. The boom from the thunder caused the entire house to shake. It startled Pretty awake and she screamed.
I age a slice of bread after taking my morning meds and nothing after losing that. *shrug* Still not feeling the best this morning. No fever but my tummy is still rumbling and making noises this morning. I didn't try to take meds this morning as I was sure I'd just lose them again.

@LindaOHio Those aren't my favorite, either. Thank you.

@LindaOHio I used sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, and thin slices of raw onions. Couldn’t use the French Fried Onions due to our holiday. Perhaps next time. I have another meal in the freezer.

I like beef stew with sour cream and those little matchstick French fried onions.

That sounds like nice meals.
I had some Noodles with a Fried Snack in the morning.
In the night, it was Rotis plus vegetable of Capsicum and Potato.
No Easter celebration here.
Yet we do celebrate Christmas in our own small ways.

I went across the river to the "other" Chuy's and got "half" a taco salad big enough for dinner as well. I threw some more lettuce in it to make it even bigger, and had a cheese sammich and a peppermint patty (not with it
) and applesauce!

It's 5:25 am; and I'm getting hungry. I'll probably just have brunch rather than breakfast when I'm done here.

@LindaOHio So many nuances on colors. Green isn't just green.

I'm still debating on the color. It's been a horrific blue for years. Long story.

Today was pretty warm and then it got chilly and windy. I think we had three seasons in one day today.
