I hope the photo comes through so that you can see the exotic looking tulip. It's a parrot tulip. I'm ready to go buy more of these bulbs. I hope everyone had a wonderful day, even if celebrating Easter wasn't on your mind. I drove hubby and me to the little area north of us this afternoon. We sat with our writing buddies outside and read the chapter from the Wind in the Willows- the Piper at the Gates of Dawn. Pan protects the baby otter. It was a fine read. Ravens conversed high up in nearby fir trees. Tons too warm to sit in the house. I drove slowly up their driveway when we first arrived cause a Mom deer and her two mid sized youngsters were quite close, snacking on underbrush. Loved it.
