Gas prices had dropped slightly over the Easter Weekend, but today they're SKY HIGH at $4.34/gallon for plain unleaded, which is significantly higher than this time last year which was around $2.50/gal.
It's Spring Break, so sometimes they gouge people with their fuel prices during that time.
Luckily hubby had $1.05 off in rewards at Kroger, so we paid less, but still way too much.
How are your area's gas prices today? Is it Spring Break there?

I cannot keep up with the rises here in fuel.
I only go out once or twice a week, and there is always such significant increases, that to try to monitor it regularly when I work from home, would take alot.
I wish that the powers that be that agitated the Arabs would settle down so that the fuel on the ships can easily pass again. We all rely so much on that.

@looeyville Ours are high too. Our central heating is oil-fired, and on February 9th I bought 500 litres for £300. Today the same amount costs £640.

The station closest to me has it for 3.99. It was more expensive on the trip though. It is always higher in PA and the corner of WV we pass through.

My area is running around $3.30 a gallon for unleaded now. We were at $3.13 a gallon last week. I'm sure the prices are higher in larger cities.

It should be spring break if not now, soon. We just had easter. George took me out last weekend (just before easter) and we filled up the van. He told me it was 4.15/gal for what we get, and I didn't believe him. When I looked at the button I push, sure enough, he was actually right.

This is more because of what’s song on in Iran than spring break.
