Went to Aldi yesterday and saw what look like strawberries but they are called dream berry.
Maybe they are actually strawberries but dream berry is used to describe them.
Decided to give them a try.
A 10-ounce container cost $3.99.
Seems like it’s not expensive for this but maybe I’m wrong.
The dream berries are not very big in size and are delicious.
Some are bright red while others are a little bit lighter.
Those that are bright red are the best.

I looked at the container and it actually says strawberries on the bottom of the label. As I’ve updated in my discussion, perhaps dream berry is just what they use to describe these strawberries.

That could be but it does say strawberries on the bottom of the label. I didn’t notice that before.

Never heard about these. Sounds interesting. I got curious and looked up dream berries online and this is what it said
Dream Berry is a sweet and fruity strain that is a cross between Blue Dream and Blackberry. Its calming indica qualities prevail over its sativa genetics. The breeders at Apothecary Genetics recommend a short 6 to 7 week flowering time for indoor gardens, or the end of September for outdoor cultivation.

I hope you enjoy them. I haven't seen them, but then again I don't shop in the produce section.

There are all different kinds of strawberries now. I’ve seen some that are very small and bright red and each one is in its own space in the carton kind of like eggs are. Those are like ten bucks if not more for one small carton. I think they’re Japanese.

I have seen them before, but not at Aldi. I bet elsewhere they are more expensive.
