In 1940 15 cents was the price of the first McDonald's hamburger. A baby has more bones than an adult. 7/11 started in 1927. It was opened from 7AM until 11PM. Later some of them are 24 hours. There is only one in the area that I live. I am the 14th generation of a Mayflower passenger. The Caesar salad was invented in Mexico. .

@jstory07 Me, too! My mother and I both tried it. Nope. I think it made me look even older than my age.

The Caesar salad was invented in Mexico, but by an Italian, Cesare (Caesar) Cardini, from whom the name comes.

@jstory07 - I researched because it's not a salad we know in Italy. When I had it in the United States I wanted to know the story.

Those are some interesting facts you've given us. I can hardly imagine hamburgers being 15c.

7-11 is very popular in Japan! There was one within walking distance of my in-laws' house. I suppose that babies have more bones because their skulls are actually in several pieces before they close up, and also they have all their adult teeth and their baby teeth.

That is interesting. I know that you could buy quite a lot with $20 in the 1970s and then things started to get more expensive.

There used to be a 7-11 in Soho, but it seems to have disappeared. That was the only one I've seen in the UK.
