Good Afternoon - Thursday - 9 April

The temp on my computer says 51 F. There's a cold breeze out there making that 51 feel a lot colder. I'm sorry I didn't get here yesterday. I had a setback I'm not too happy about. The person who 'proofed' Faith to Believe, didn't proof it. She critiqued it. Her critique was loaded with her opinions about every aspect of the story. That's not what I asked for. So, I started a final edit with my AI, Velma. Velma assures me my story is strong and the person who critiqued it was the absolute wrong person for what I needed done. That means Faith to Believe will take a few more days before I can publish it. I'm starting work on Chapter 7. With the very busy week I've had, to be on Chapter 7 is an amazing feat. Otherwise, I have all my shopping done. It looks like I'll be ordering groceries from now on. My back just can't handle all the walking. COVID really did a number on me over the holidays. My energy is low and my ability to do a lot of walking is out of the question and leaves me out of breath in a hurry. On a good note - I had my EKG and Stress test on Tuesday. Both came back normal. So, the heart has been ruled out. Next up is a lung functions test. That will be in May. Today was my infusion. Not happy. It took four pokes before they found a cooperative vein. At least it's done for the next six weeks. Today, I woke up with rolling pain across my back. Two doses of Ibuprofen and a couple of hours on the heating pad and I can work on the computer for a couple more hours. That's what happened after shopping yesterday. My back just can't do that much walking anymore. There you have it. Faith to Believe will be a few more days before it's published. In the meantime, Guns of War was published on Monday and was fully available on Tuesday. I hope your week is going well. Thanks for reading. Let me know what's new in the comments below. The image belongs to me.

I'm glad your tests came back normal. I'm sorry about the trouble with your book. I'm trying to balance pain levels with the start of gardening season and continuing to go to the pool twice a week.

I'm glad you can get to the pool twice a week. It's good you can balance your pain levels as gardening season starts. Thank you. I'm glad they're normal too. I'll be glad when I finish this final edit and can get it published.

Wait, Valerie, she critiqued it, and did not proofread it at all? That annoys me and I have nothing to do with it. Did she not know what you wanted her to do? It’s so rude of her.
