Carpet’s down. What colour do you like on the floor?

Well the carpet man’s been and gone. There were two of them, they worked fast and efficiently and they did not show us their bottoms when they bent over - my kind of carpet man.
The room looks warm and rich now, and our daughter had a shower, washed her hair and donned new nightwear for the occasion.
The carpet fitters said that our choice of carpet (pictured above) was refreshing for them, a change from the standard beiges and greys that are all the rage now.
Do you like a coloured carpet or do you prefer neutrals?

@traceyjayne Daughter’s bedroom. Walls are a pale pink. She’s loving it all, and the carpets so warm and thick for her feet.

I like good earthy colors. The brighter the better. Something to be said for greys and beiges but not for a carpet or rug. Rich and warm yes, indeed.

That's pretty and I'm sure you daughter loves it. We asked for a neutral gray-ish brown carpet so it doesn't show dirt and stains as much as the yellow carpet that was here when we moved in.

I love the color of the carpet. My mom always preferred Oriental carpeting with a mix of colors but I like solids.
