Off to Guitar Center. Gotta get my mojo working.

I'm feeling a bit "meh" this morning. But I have six students at Guitar Center, starting at 10 AM, so it's time to fire up. My first student is Christopher, the possibly-autistic kid with a great ear for music. He has been spreading his fingers out on piano for me recently. No more karate chops. I am proud of him, and his family is thankful. Off I go. Wish me inspiration.

He and I had a good lesson today. He continues to work on spreading out his fingers, and he can now do several tunes all the way through.

It really is. He now makes eye-contact with me and jokes with me about certain things. He played Joy to the World flawlessly today, though not with perfect fingering. We're working on it.
