Good Afternoon, Saturday, 11 April

It's a nice day, sunny, in the 50s. I'm taking a break from Faith to Believe for the moment. It's an emotionally heavy book. My brain needs a break. After two days of backpain, my back is finally feeling decent again. I got the garbage down this morning without my back yelling at me, which is good. I would love to take a walk outside, but that's not even thinkable with the way my back has been behaving lately. How many of you watched the splashdown of Artimus II last night. I turned my TV on right at the right time to watch it come through the last few minutes and the blackout, and then the splashdown to the moment the astronauts came out of the capsule. I know many of you have never seen a splashdown before, but for those of us old enough to remember the Apollo program, it was more than awesome. God-willing I'll see them land on the moon again in 2028. Okay, I'm going to find out what you're doing in your neck of the world. Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

This splashdown only served to make me doubt more that man ever went to the moon before Valerie.

I hope you're kidding. Of course, we went to the moon in 1969. I saw the live broadcast.

I watched it for a few minutes as it entered our atmosphere and when it landed in the water. I went to finish putting things away in the kitchen and then went to bed to read for a while and did not see them get out of the remaining capsule.

We seen right before they got them out. I was outside walking before that. Very glad your back is feeling better.

It was exciting to watch, even though not much was happening between splashdown and the astronauts coming out of the capsule. Thank you.

A productive day for me: I got in 7 articles to Vocal Media. So glad the astronauts made it safely back down.

Nothing going on here. I'm glad your back is better. Unfortunately I did not see the splashdown.

I didn't see any of that, but a friend of mine tried to tell me about it. 2028 is not that far away. Sounds like a busy time there, and it is good to take a break once in a while.
