My Mom won at Bingo .....

So, the entertainment at the Birthday party today was Bingo .....
There were quite a few prizes as it was for fun and the prizes were a bit silly sometimes.
Anyway, despite playing lots of cards I didn't win but my Mom did .....yay ! And her prize was a book of crossword puzzles .....and she does love crosswords so that was perfect . ( Other prizes included moth balls and hemorrhoid cream ! ).

Yes, we certainly have a laugh when we get together, which sadly isn’t very often these days. Firstly Covid and then we have sadly lost many members of the family through age or illness,

Interesting prizes, at least! I'm glad Mom got the puzzle book. I love puzzles, too. I'm sure she'll love them.

@DaddyEvil we both love puzzles. Mom does crosswords and wordsearches. I do wordsearches and sudoku.
What sort of puzzles do you do ?

@traceyjayne Did you see who won that cream? At a holiday cottage we stayed in a few years ago in Donegal among the supplies left for our use by the owner was a tub of stool softener. I was baffled. I’d never heard of such a thing and had to be enlightened by my wife.

It was another of Moms cousins who won it, she is 70, but said she had no need for it ….yet !
( another cousin who is a former nurse shouted up ….”it’s very good for getting rid of bags under your eyes !” )
