Don't use Clarity Check!!

A word to advise you not to use a site called Clarity Check
It's a bit of a scam
I wanted to confirm the identity of someone and I used them by giving the person's name, email address and a face photo
They did comfirm the identity correctly so that was good
But I was just off the site and my phone pinged
Not was I glad I set my bank app not to pay anyone without my say so
I never saw small print saying I signed up and they wanted £20 a week lol
Anyway I got it cancelled and all it cost me was £1
No harm done

@Ineeddentures - Yes, they should specify if it's one time payment or recurrent. Some site are scam.

I didn't mind paying the £1
I had not seen the small print
Yvonne says it would have said " by ticking the box you agree.......

It's not really odd amount
Or a massive amount
But that is why I don't pay anything until the bank gets the approval request answered by poor old impoverished me

My bank wouldn't have paid without my say so but these people are scammers

It could have been costly
I read reviews later and once they get the claws in it's hard to get them to loosen the grip
