Time For Some Spring Cleaning

Happy Tuesday Everyone! looks like we'll be enjoying some summer weather the next few days. As much as I hate to have to put the a/c on I will enjoy the sunshine and warmth as long as it's not extremely hot and humid.
I had a busy morning working on my closet. Decided that it's time for some spring cleaning and what better to clean than my bedroom walk-in closet. Except it's become a place where things go to die and it's not really a walk-in anymore but a tread carefully and don't trip over anything closet.
With the donation truck coming on Thursday for a pick-up I'm looking for things I can add to the boxes I already have. Today I sorted through some boxes of shoes that I used to wear to work and will never wear them again. They're in good condition so hopefully someone will enjoy them.
After lunch I'm going to read my book as I'm 3/4 through and really need to know how it ends. I hate when I have to put down a really good book because silly things like house chores, etc need to get done.
Tonight we're having a quick and easy dinner (grilled chicken, rice and roasted baby carrots). It's girls night so I'm saving my calories for dessert. My older daughter is bringing something when she comes but I have no idea what it is. Something sweet I hope

I really wish I could just call somebody to pick up stuff I want to get rid of. When I lived in the burbs Purple Heart a vets group was great for that.

@Marilynda1225 I've been looking online to find a store that carries travel size hair mousse, it took me almost an hour to find a store.

Spring cleaning can be tedious but at the end of it, worth the effort.
Your post reminds me that the fiction book I have been reading is nearing the end.
May be I will try to complete it today.
On some days, I read around 100+ pages pretty fast.
Yet there have been many gap days as well.
The dinner sounds nice.
We had a good lunch, but had a kind of early dinner with Tea and snacks.
Now we are getting ready for some very busy days.

I love cleaning out closets. I volunteer to help my friends purge their closets. Our a/c kicked on a few times yesterday and I'm sure it will today as well.

For quite a few years I gave up on reading altogether as I was burning pots, running sinks over, etc because I'd get so engrossed in my book, everything else would get forgotten.
