Pollice officers in Abilene Texas went to social media on Monday morning to report the good news that Abilene resident 13 year old female teenager Amy Lewis who was reported missing by her relatives on Sunday afternoon.
The good news is that Amy was found safe and sound and returned to her parents' home on Monday thanks to the cooperation of the community to find her safe and sound.
I just wonder if she ran away from home or just decided to talk a walk without permission from her relatives.

So glad she was found safe and sound
She is 13, she probably went away for a sulk to get the attention she was seeking.
Somebody maybe said no to her.

That is true since many television shows talk about missing kids disappearing and never coming back home alive.

I do not think the public will ever be told the whole story.

I often wonder about teens at that age what in the world did she think if she would not go back home, At that age they are very dependent on their parents,

That is true that teens at that age range tend to believe that they are invincible.

I am in agreement with you since Amy is lucky that no one harmed her while she was away from home.

I also hope that Amy learned a lesson not to leave home without permission since she was lucky that she was not kidnapped.

Let's hope that she is a whole lot wiser for the experiences, and thinks twice, about ever doing such a thing again.
