I thought my phone was pretty much fully charged. I am only at Moms overnight , so , in my wisdom, i thought i wouldn't need my charger . I was going shopping both days so , its extra to carry...okay, so not that much extra ! Anyway, my battery is going down faster that a rat up a drainpipe....it may not survive ....I need it for shopping tomorrow as I have offers to use on an app. I've told The Mister to ring on the landline tonight .... Keep your fingers crossed for me ...and my phone ! Do you ever forget your charger ?

Why would I remember a charger when we're going out? My phone battery lasts several days on a single charge. Pretty is always borrowing my phone so she doesn't run her battery down. I keep telling her she needs to buy an Android with a longer lasting battery or remember her purse so she can bring the aux battery with her. I hope you and your phone make it through all the shopping with a bit of energy to spare.

@Traceyjayne My Motorola has the largest battery they make for a phone. Pretty buys the Android phones with the batteries like yours has. So she carries a large battery pack around in her purse to recharge it when she doesn't forget it.

@DaddyEvil The Mister uses a battery pack ...I have one somewhere.... I am usually very good at charging my phone, and bringing my charger with me ....I thought there was a lot of battery left and as i'm only here a short time this week i thought it would be fine ! how wrong i was !

I've done it often enough that I now have chargers that live in my car. Your mom doesn't happen to have one that fits your phone, does she?

@traceyjayne No, I’m uncharacteristically organised in that department and I’ve never, ever run out of charge.

We forget from time time. The annoying part is that everything takes a different charger - phone, computer, cameras.

@Traceyjayne Companies would miss out on the income they get from everyone having to have a separate charger.

@JudyEv that’s what drives me mad ….elery appliance has a different charger ! Surely in this day and age it wouldn’t be too tricky to make the sizes the same for everything ….

That's one situation one must avoid by all means. Hope you eventually sorted it out.

I hope your phone made it! I hate forgetting my charger, but I rarely do. I’m so dependent on my phone, as it’s my only “computer” that I hardly forget it.

Today the phone is quite important and therefore I always keep a phone charger with me in case I need to charge it.

I never forget my charger especially for an overnight but if I would be away only for a whole day, then I don't bring my charger with me at all.

I always have a charging cord in my car, and a plug in to use it in a wall outlet as well. I learned years ago that I have to have one with me. Sometimes son has to unexpectedly stay at the hospital, and then I am gone late or gone all night. So the car one saves me worrying about that.
