I’m probably the only one who would have discovered these two ladies, but I think it is worth telling you about them. Baccara was a Spanish female vocal duo with Maria Mendiola and Mayte Mateos.
Since I often research online for writing music articles, I find some interesting singers who otherwise might not be known. Now these two ladies were best known in Europe, but the one song that I think is really touching and beautiful, I want to share with you: "Somewhere in Paradise."
Along with the song, I have attached one of my poetic memes. It was always a special time in Latvia when in May lilacs bloomed. Our garden had many different colored lilacs, and it was always sad that this lilac blooming time was so short. However, you could be sure that everywhere you went in Riga, you would see lilacs blooming and scenting the air, even on the city side.

Oh, I do so love the lilacs. They also remind me of my mother.

Oh, how lovely!
We had lilacs at our last house. I'd always pick a bunch of them and set vases of them on the kitchen table and on the coffee table in the living room. The whole house smelled wonderful!

@RasmaSandra It was planted all along the North wall of our last house. I could open my bedroom window and the scent wafted straight in.

We had lilac bushes on the farm where I grew up.
I always loved it when they came into season.
We had a big lilac shrub at our home in the country, but we had to remove it as it attracted too many bees, and our son was young and wouldn't play outside because of the bees.

@RasmaSandra Oh that sounds very traumatic.
I was walking (barefoot) across the backyard holding our son's hand, when he was less than 2 years old, and I stepped on a bee which stung me terribly. He remembers me crying as it hurt so badly.

@Juliaacv I can understand that my mom went through a crisis with me when a bee buzzed into one of my ears and bit me. After that I even hear a bee and I would be screaming.

@DianneN it is just as well that now there are no lilac bushes around because if I saw one it would make me cry. Do you have any lilacs in Connecticut?

@DianneN if you're interested I found this online and I also thought if you buy in a container perhaps for a while you can leave it in the container.
Yes, lilacs are available for purchase in pots in Connecticut. Several nurseries and garden centers offer lilac bushes in containers, making them suitable for planting in various locations, including patios and gardens.

@RasmaSandra I’m sure you’d cry.
Ours had to be removed to make room for our patio, but I plan to buy at least one more.

Ooh! We had a lilac bush in our backyard, right outside our breakfast room window. Such a heavenly fragrance! That and hyacinth are my favorites scents of spring.

@thethelme56 in Latvia we had a lilac bush near the front door and when it bloomed, it was like almost stepping out right into it,
