The photo isn't so good, a little blurry, because I was trying to discreetly snap this photo from our car.
I just thought this was neat.
The two workers are sitting on what looks like paint buckets as chairs having lunch on the lowered tailgate of their pick-up truck. What you can't see in the photo and it didn't happen until later was that they had a tiny microwave plugged into the back of the truck and they were heating up their food. It looked like soup or stew.
Anyway, I just found this interesting.

That is cool. I have a 12v plug in the back where I could hook a microwave up as well.

I have always enjoyed having meals where I can and improvising.
I remember, as a young girl, making cheese sandwiches for my Dad, packing pickles a fruit and cookies, a mason jar with milk (he loved to drink milk with meals) and put it in the carrier basket on my bike and head off to the field where he would be working up land or planting or harvesting a crop.
He would ask me to put my bike up on the kick stand and I would sit on the fender of the tractor while he stretched his legs as he ate. Those are such sweet memories in my mind.

That's very creative. It would be a lot better lunch than having fast food, as long as the weather is nice they can sit outside and enjoy it.

When I was working construction, I built a wooden box with a 100 Watt light bulb in it and plugged it in when I got to work and put my lunch in it. Even if my lunch was really cold when I put it in, it came out toasty like it had just been microwaved. (I made the box large enough several people could put their lunches in it, too.
