I'm an addict...

Whenever I got into a hobby, I become obsessed with it.
I don't really care how much I spend on it as long as I'm enjoying.
Among my several hobbies, crocheting is the cheapest. And best of all, I even got a return on my investment since I sold what I made.
So yeah, I need a HUGe amount of yarns but not these days. I'm too busy with the demand of the family business that I could hardly touch my hooks.
Yes I have too many hooks.

I love journaling too and I spend too much money on expensive pens and journals. Much more expensive than my crochet hooks and yarns.

@toniganzon And reading is the most time consuming, but I don’t give a hoot. I love them both! Just bought a really cute pair of gold sneakers!

I used to do all those things. Crocheted, embroidered, knitted, even tatted for a while. That was years ago when I had the patience for it. I think it is pretty normal to obsess over a project when you are first learning about it.
I guess my addiction now would be true crime videos and food. I have been doing some deep dives into crimes against children. I am amazed at how many parents are such evil beings. And one small 7 year old left to have his older brother taking care of him while their mother worked several jobs. The horrors that the older boy was able to do. Food is a much better subject. I've found some caramels that I really enjoy, and I so like having something to look forward to while I watch my shows.

The thing is, I learned crochet when I was just 11 years old. I got back to it several years ago and crocheted for more than 12 hours every single day. The only break I took was when I'm taking a shower or eating.

That’s an addiction I can understand when everything you create is so AMAZING! I’m weirdly addicted to crossword puzzles right now. It started out to just pass time when waiting for appointments in doctor offices, but now that’s what I do when I can’t sleep. That’s a boring addiction, but it’s a safer one that some addictions!

I don't find it a boring addiction since your brain is active when doing crossword puzzles. It's' a great addiction too!
