Diana said this morning that my dad called her into the kitchen to see these huge ants on the kitchen counter. Of course, you probably figured out he was talking about the two ant sculptures.
Diana likes to put whimsical items in her backyard (remember the six food yellow chicken), and he bought these for her.
Do you guys put anything in your backyard and/garden?

Those two are cute! I'm glad there were no live ants in their kitchen! We've only seen two live ants in the house this spring and killed both of them.
We have a couple of flower whirly-gigs in the front flowerbeds beside the solar lights out there but can't put anything in the back yard. The older neighbor's grandkids destroy anything in the back yard. (Yes, we complained about losing some plants back there. All he said was that kids have to play somewhere.
They don't have to play in my back yard, though. But he still lets them.)

@DaddyEvil That’s good the neighbor does it. I can’t imagine how badly that would mess you up.

@AmbiePam Pretty and I rarely go outside anymore unless we're getting in the car to go somewhere. We pay the older neighbor to mow for us so we don't need to do anything in the yard anymore.

How cute are they?
And the way that he introduced the ants to Diana, that was smart of him.
We have a concrete angel standing, resting one knee on a short pillar beside her.
My aunt gave her to us when she moved after her retirement.
She received this as a gift for her retirement, but always was reminded of our daughter when she looked at it and thought that she might better grace our yard than hers.

Those are cute. I have a squirrel statue by the birdbath and a fox and beaver out front.

Those two are adorable. I like to make glass totem poles- I guess you could call them that. It's just interesting glass items I find at thrift stores. Different colored glass is lovely among flowers. I tipped a red glass ball vase onto a gold metal whats it and I think its lovely.

Those are cute. I do not have anything really right now. Some shepherd's hooks to hang things on. A couple of bird baths. A little concrete cherub or angel that belonged to my older sister.

If I had a backyard or a garden, I'd definitely put something similar.
Those are cute ants by the way.

We used to have a gnome, a turtle, a dwarf, and some pelicans in our garden.

No, though I wouldn't mind doing so if I had the money to get things.

I hate ants with a passion! I have a pink flamingo in the front flower bed. Nothing else.

I plant vegetables and a few flowers. I saw and fell in love with some super cute colored mushrooms that light up thru solar. But they are not in the budget and I don’t need them, when the flowers come out blooming it will be enough decoration for me,anyway. I tell myself I plant the flower seeds for the hummingbirds as they love them, but I really enjoy simple flowers.
