I Made The Appointment with the Dietician

Okay, okay, stop nagging me, I've made the damned appointment!
I'm kidding. I appreciate that some of you worry about me and were encouraging me to get this done.
The appointment isn't for 2 more weeks, so you're going to have to wait a while to find out what suggestions they're going to give me.
In the meantime I'll just keep doing the best I can to consume enough calories each day so that my body won't go into starvation mode and hold onto all the weight. It's been a struggle.

@looeyville I hope they come up with some good ideas for you. Hard for someone like me to relate to being limited in eating options. If it’s on a plate I usually eat it. Today though I saw on TV a woman serve up rabbits eyes. Her challenge was to make a meal without wasting any of the rabbit. I draw the line at rabbit eyes. No need for that.

I couldn't eat rabbit eyes, either. Or a few other parts of any animal...that's just a big no from me!

It does seem that you have become a bit obsessed with this stuff.
You are quite active
You need about 2000 calories per day to remain healthy, proteins, fats and carbs

Honestly, I bet she will tell you not to focus so much on food. It seems this whole food, weight loss, low carb lifestyle takes over your life. I mean how much are you enjoying life right now? I wouldn't if I was constantly worrying about what the scale was going to read. What's wrong with relaxing..and doing the best you can? I know what you mean though about calories consumed..when I am in :"dieting mode" I sometimes don't eat enough. I want to keep my calories at a certain level so my body doesn't go into starvation mode either.

I’m pleased you have taken that huge step and have an appointment. You have already done so well …..im sure they will be able to help you. Just don’t be thinking about it for the two weeks as you wait …

I have no idea what I consume each day but I am still standing. Hopefully everything is OK, but I have a feeling my body has just become used to me

I think it's great that you made the appointment. It will hopefully help you. With all the food allergies you have, I would be struggling to figure out what to eat, too.
