And I blame @fourwalls.
Recently she posted her monthly tribute to musicians who've crossed the rainbow and some of those she mentions were part of some awesome tunes I used to love to hear so off I go whizzing through YouTube and wouldn't ya know I came across this iconic tune, usually I search for White Room but I wasn't even searching for Cream but this one popped up and I had to listen.
As miss 4walls knows I prefer no lyrics but not in this case, I like the whole kit n kaboodle.
Ummm, one thing about the lyrics though, I've never been able to understand the words so I listened to a version with lyrics and now I'm wondering what 'barrelhouse' means, do you know?

A barrelhouse is a bar with a nasty reputation, usually with music.
Thanks for the mention and the blame!

@rebelann Is that the one that goes "In a white room with black curtains..."? I like that one too.

A barrel house is let's say a lovely bar with loads of nice well behaved people all listening to music sitting still and behaving themselves

I have heard of the Cream song "White Room" but not the song "Crossroads".

Back in the 60s I never really paid much attention to the words, just the tune mostly and if I did pay attention it wasn't always easy to hear the words sung.
You're welcome.
