The oddest things run through my head upon waking... Today's head scratcher is: "He has oilpans for hands." Make of that what you will. It's 4°C at 7:47 am, mostly sunny, and should get to 18°C today. I'll take it.

A person with dirty hands all the time? Greasy comes to mind.

I bet those hands are clumsy as all get out! Did you help him with whatever he was trying to do?

I have actually heard of that saying before. It is supposed to mean that whoever is being discussed is clumsy, and often drops or breaks things. But I have to agree with you that it's a head scratcher.

@BarBaraPrz That is weird. Maybe you heard it once and it didn't register in your head? I don't know, just guessing. But yes, it is a real saying.
