That’s a hard question to answer ….well it is for me any way .
Let’s look at them in turn …
I must remember that what we call biscuits in the UK some folk in other parts of the world call them cookies
My favourite cookies are …..
Oreo
Chocolate bourbons
Malted milk
My favourite cakes are …
Coffee and walnut
Carrot
Lemon drizzle
Chocolate
Let’s not forget the Jaffa cake too…..
Having said that …I don’t eat either very often, so when I do, it’s a real treat.
So, are you a cake or cookie person ?
What are your favourites ?

I will eat cookies and cake but rarely eat either one. I prefer chocolate chip cookies and white cake with chocolate icing or, I will also eat carrot cake. Pretty also prefers chocolate chip cookies and whatever type of cake I cook and ice.
She eats them more often than I do although the last cake she bought was for her birthday and she only ate two pieces of it and threw the rest away. *shrug*

@Traceyjayne I suspect Mom can do wonders with almost any food.
Pretty and I started to go buy breaded chicken strips for the freezer but, after we went out to the car, it wouldn't start again. We just had the motor checked and they charged us $800 for the work on it. *sigh* We'll have to call the garage in the morning and ask when they can get it back in and check it over again.

I don’t eat either often at all, but I much prefer cake. My dad’s favorite is chocolate cake with peanut butter icing, or German Chocolate Cake. My favorite is a moist chocolate cake, lemon, or Red Velvet Cake. But now that you mention it, a good carrot cake is yummy too.

I ate so many cookies as a child I stopped eating those but I still love cakes that are not too sweet, I always have some Hostess Ding Dongs to eat.

I like both. I like a lot of different cookies. I prefer white cake with white buttercream frosting. Longhorn Steakhouse has a multi layer chocolate cake with ganache between the layers which is heavenly.

@Traceyjayne Well if we are talking cookies then some fresh home-made oatmeal-raisin cookies would be divine.

I honestly don't buy cookies, I just make them. I like the old fashioned ones--Snickerdoodles, oatmeal, peanut butter, chocolate chip. We do make a few other types, too. Coffee cake is our very favorite, with lots of cinnamon and a crumble topping. We enjoy carrot cake, lemon, and coconut sometimes, but not often.
