You're snobby, rude, snotty!

Am I what?
Somebody called me that today and my sister defended me. My sister was a witness to what really happened.
The woman in her senior years was being rude to me but I was still very polite and respectful in defending myself. She turned her back and uttered that I was snobby. To which my sister reacted right away.
Sister defended me not because I'm her sister but because she knew I was right and I was never rude nor snobby to anybody. Much more to somebody older than me.
When the senior left, she told me it's how people are in this town. And brother told me in jest that I have to accept the truth that I am indeed snobby!
We all just laughed.

I do too. It was my sister who got offended. It really didn't bother me. I don't want to stoop down to their level so I just ignore them. But I have to speak when I am right about something.

Good for your sister! Some seniors are so weird about young people.

Is he/she very old? hehehehe!
I hope you already forgave that senior.
In the Philippines, we just don't talk back to an old person, but we can't help but laugh, and that will bring us to trouble, lol! Old folks are very grumpy.

There's nothing to forgive. I didn't take it against her. Nor was I hurt for one second by what she said because I know myself and I know none of what she said matters to me at all.
She was in her 60s or she might b younger but just looks old.

You have good siblings who defend you when somebody is mistaken about your character.
I'm sorry the lady was rude.

I don't need defending actually. Not a single word she said about me was true anyway.
Those kind of people need to be ignored. Not given a time of day.

My sister is a tough one and stands for what is right.
I wasn't bothered for one second with what that old lady said. I know myself more than anybody else. She was very rude, but that's her nature. That's not who I am.
