Southern Comfort Anyone? So these 6 35cl bottles arrived And what a bargain they turned out to be Got them for £6.50 each from a retailer in England, and they are price marked £9.99 each So I saved £3.49 on each bottle It's a really nice drink and after sampling it a few times last night I was slightly tipsy. Yay for me. Do you like Southern Comfort?

I got really really sick on that stuff when I was young and dumb, and cannot even stand the smell of it any more.

@Ineeddentures It did not help that I was on a date with someone whom I wasn't really wanting to go out with, but he 'wore me down' as the saying goes, so I gave in for 1 date, and only a few after that, which surprised me as I was sick while we were out.

I think it would be easy for it to make one sick. I did drink a bit too much of it last night. But the bottle is well over half full so it .ust be strong

It's fine. Was this imported from the US, or a local brand? Honestly, it would be somewhat more here than you paid.

@Ineeddentures The real stuff would be made in Kentucky or Tennessee..not sure which state lays claim to it.

@snowy22315 Southern Comfort is made in the United States, specifically associated with its origins in New Orleans, Louisiana. Which it says on the bottle lol The brand was created by bartender Martin Wilkes Heron in New Orleans in 1874, using whiskey as the base spirit. Whiskey was replaced by a neutral spirit under the ownership of Brown–Forman. On March 1, 2016, the Sazerac Company purchased it, and reintroduced whiskey as its base spirit.

I might, but I don’t drink. I know many that do enjoy it.

I heard it was popular here but I had never known anyone who actually drank it So when the chance of this bargain came up , I thought why not? It's very good. Sometimes I wish I didn't drink but this time I am glad I do

That’s extremely reasonable. No, I prefer my vodka and gin. I once dated a university friend who drank that, but in those days I didn’t drink.

I only bought it because it was really cheap and I thought it was worth a try. Gin is still my favorite Vodka too, but it has to be decent Russian Vodka,

I drank this back in the day, before I found the tasty fireball. But I never really cared for SC. That is a good savings though
