Few years ago I bought a new phone to my dad. So I keep his old phone in the drawer. Recently I took it out as a backup phone. But soon I found its battery didn't last for a long time. Actually it couldn''t work because of no power. So finally I bought a phone battery and then asked my son to change the battery. I am glad that everything went well. My son is very good at the electric things and he fixed it. Now this old phone works quite well again

I did the same two days ago. I bought a new battery for the "senior phone" of my husband and it's like new now.

From the photos, it looks like he did more than just change out the old battery. I'm glad he was able to fix the old phone so you have a spare in case of an emergency.

As he needed to glue the cover after changing the battery, and this is why the phone was banded until the glue is dry.

@youless That does make sense. I've had to superglue phone covers back on after working on the insides of them.

As cover was glued after that, and the bands make sure it'll be fixed.
