Is it corny now?

I heard a song by Boyz II Men on a commercial just now, and of course the words had been changed to fit the product it was advertising. Obviously, done that way the song becomes corny. However, I wondered if the music I listened to years ago, still held up today. And while I didn’t buy Boyz II Men music, I certainly heard it in the radio.
We know @FourWalls has her expert opinions. What do you think of the music you listened to years and years ago?

@FourWalls has certainly brought me back in time with some of the songs she's posted. Funny how just hearing a song can bring back memories you had forgotten,

Aren’t you so sweet to mention me?
Thank you for the positive thoughts!
I read in Steve Goodman’s biography that his widow authorized Ex-Lax to use the line “good morning, America, how are you” from “City of New Orleans” in commercials….owing to the fact that the chemo made Goodman constipated, and he had a wicked enough sense of humor to appreciate it.

I love music of yesteryear better than the more current.
