What's that smell?

Man I was going crazy today. I noticed some weird burned electric smell during the 2.5 hour clinical session. I discreetly tried to smell my shirt, my sweatpants, my bag, etc. I couldn't find the source of the smell! I thought that maybe it was something in the room but NOPE the smell followed me to lunch, to yoga, and to reiki. I was really getting paranoid about it. I couldn't figure out what it could be. When I got back here this afternoon I stripped out of all of my clothes and put new stuff on. Sure enough it was my sweatpants. I don't know what happened with them as they were washed in a load with other stuff that smells fine. The elastic closures at the bottom aren't melted or anything. In any case I am going to wash them and see if that does the trick. I'm glad to at least figured out where the funky smell was coming from.

That sort of happened to me once. I received a gift of a new set of bath towels from Kohl’s. I opened the package and a chemical type of smell hit me hard. I asked my neighbor to smell them, and her comment was to take them to Kohl’s and tell them to smell them. They gave me a gift card and said several people had returned their towels for the same reason. Just weird!!

And that is a scent that is difficult to clear from your nasal passages. I hope that the washing does the trick and that you can sniff some coffee beans or something to neutralize that scent. Have a good evening.

I have trouble with sweatpants getting smelly at times. You can't wear them too often or at least I can't.
