Does a song from years ago suddenly pop into your head?

I know it does for Four walls, but does it happen to everybody else too? Today out of the blue, haven't heard it for years Tanya Tucker's song Delta Dawn popped into my head. I am cruising down the road singing this at the top of my lungs. Good thing nobody else was around, I had trouble with the high notes. So funny, haven't heard, haven't seen anybody perform it, was just there in my head. I still know at least half of it too.

Yes! Especially the songs from the 80s and 90s. Thanks to Spotify and YouTube music, I can always listen to it!! Brings back memories.

@snowy22315 used to be different in the 90s. You'd either hope the radio plays it or will need to buy the cassette or cd.

Yep, that is nice about digital music you can call up what you want to listen to, when you want to hear it.

Oh yes! That happens a lot! And Delta Dawn was always one of my favorites. This one song that kept popping in my head was Nights On Broadway by the Bee Gees.

It does for me. It's always Salsoul Nugget And I get goosebumps And want an ecstacy tablet It's been like this for 12 years since I stopped taking ecstacy And it's usually on a wednesday It happened yesterday So I put the song on full blast in the garden and Yvonne asked if I was having ecstacy.with drawal

Well, since you already know my answer…. Yes, I walked back to the car from Hoagy Carmichael’s grave singing “Georgia on My Mind.”

Last week I heard the Beatle's song, Carry that Weight performed live with an amazing pianist, and do you think that I can go one single day without humming it. Even the babies are singing it, I took a video of it and they love to watch the pianist playing the baby grand.

It's funny how that happens Absolutely no clue why Delta Dawn got triggered.

This used to happen a lot but hasn't for a long time now. It's great fun really to sing loud when there is no-one to hear.
