I Made a Dietary Decision

I have felt bad for years when toward the end of the month our cupboards can be rather bare. But recently I find it to be a good excuse to fast a bit. Eat the vegetables without the meat, have canned food instead of fresh, etc. And drink a lot of water to help us feel full. I remember when I was young I visited my cousins one evening and happened to be there at dinnertime near the end of the month. They were having macaroni with butter and seasoning. I think this less food at the end of the month might be a good thing and great reason to fast a bit. I'm also trying to be more positive about things.

It's good that you can adjust to the situation; but I would rather see you have enough food to get through the month.

We are doing much better and usually do have enough.

Having a positive view of eating less is a step in the right direction.

Do you make use of food give aways? I'm sorry you are having these difficulties.

If you mean food boxes, yes we do. It's not a bad situation It's just that food gets low sometimes toward the end of the month.

That's a good way of looking at it.

I think so. Giving the digestion a bit of a rest.
