Can of pop v coffee with cream

I really fancied a coffee with cream ……no more Baileys til Christmas time .
However, I got sandwiches and a can of
blueberry and pomegranate from the fridge , opened it and started drinking it as I was having my sandwiches. It is a large can of pop and there is more than half left ….
Now I remembered I was going to have a coffee.
I don’t want to waste the pop, it is lovely, but I really wanted coffee.
I am forgetful
Do you ever do things like that ?

Sometimes I go for a soda, open it, forget I had one, and open another. This doesn’t cause too much of a problem seeing as they have lids that can be retightened, but once in a blue moon I do this, and I have to chastise myself to pay better attention.

@AmbiePam. Our bottles you can put the cap back on but once the can is open, it’s open !
I decided to finish the can of pop ….i will have coffee later.

I usually have water but may open a soda once in a great while and then have water part of the time and drink the soda, too...

I do stuff like that too 
When I sat down to eat my lunch yesterday I realized I had something else in mind that I was gong to have. So I'll have that today (if I remember)

@Marilynda. I did that the other night ….happily eating a gammon tea and suddenly realised I had a pork dinner I should have been eating.

I see it as a treat in coffee ….so I have it from around November time to end of February ….the coldest months.
It’s a bit of a waste to have it all year round , and it would work out expensive.

Often as I sit here at my desk myLotting I'll have both a glass of tea and a glass of diet coke and I alternate back and forth
