Why do these things always seem to happen on the weekend so now we get to worry all weekend until we can speak to someone on Monday? Today we received two letters from Housing. One was a bill for a removal of a freezer at a Liberty Street location which is no where near where we lived. That street is in South Boise and we live in North Boise. The second is regarding the flooring, I guess, that was done upstairs here a few months ago. (We had received a letter saying it would cost around $1800 and that is what I have been paying in installments each month.) This supposed invoice says almost $6800!! They never did show us an invoice before. So, now we get to set and stew until next week.

Why would the cost of the new floor be your responsibility when you are a tenant?

Because of our cats. They put down new carpeting once before and then there was damage again so we agreed to pay for vinyl to be installed. But the amount they told us was no where near what this invoice reflects.

What a lovely place you live in... sounds more like gouging than housing.

Goodness! Just what you don't need! I hope the invoice is wrong. Surely it has to be.
