It happens, the birds often bring the seeds coated with a natural fertilizer with their droppings A rose grew in my garden a few years after we lived there and I never planted that rose

@Ineeddentures - When I noticed the tiny plant and I said to the gardener "that looks like a rose", he answered that roses do not grow spontaneously. Well, he was wrong.

@Ineeddentures As I don´t take Luna for walks, she has run and turned the lawn into a dog race track.

Ahhhh, then there's your answer @Ineeddentures bird droppings often contain seeds that sprout into flowers and even trees at times.

@rebelann I think you are right about this Long may it continue I quite like all the birds chirping away although the starlings are a bit strange, they don't like the sparrows

Loads of birds Hundreds. Loads nesting in the hedges in the gardens Some underneath gutters and under the eaves of houses In the chimneys It's a really good area for garden birds

They look lovely there amongst the tulips. Mother Nature tends to help us out with gardening sometimes, that is likely what happened, and she's glad that you like it. At our first home, I planted some lily of the valley, as I love them so, and they grew and spread and the scent the next year was so sweet as a result-Mother Nature helped me there too.

@Ineeddentures They are a beautiful small flower. I had them embossed on our wedding invitations and the RSVP cards, all of those years ago.

Lily of the Valley. Yvonne said something about that. Hope she doesn't plant it in the Raspberry patch It might give the raspberries a funny taste

They may have been from years ago and got stirred up if the soil was disturbed. It is fun to see flowers.

That might be right Because in February I removed all the old Raspberry canes to allow for new growth.. Actually that makes sense But I wonder why I haven't seen them before

Aye. My neighbour says that a bird dropped a cannabis plant seed into a pot and that's what happened that it grew The Police didn't believe him But a jury did.

I love bluebells. From time to time we had odd flowers popping up like a yellow tulip among all the red ones,

Gazanias are now a declared weed in rural areas but they've infiltrated the garden here. They're like daisies and quite pretty, very hardy so I don't mind them in the garden. I'd rather have bluebells though.

Gazania are expensive to buy here Judy Very pretty I would rather have them than Bluebells

Aye Birds can spread seeds So if this was birds dropping seeds it would have been a couple of years ago because they be bulbs which the flowers grow from
