Bargain of The Day: Jelly Beans

Hubby loves jelly beans.
He only gets them during the Easter season when they're selling in the stores.
This year during Easter season they were $4.00/bag for Brach's jelly beans.
I was at Walgreens an hour ago and found their remaining stock of jelly beans on the clearance shelf for $1.00/bag. There were 7 bags. I bought all 7 bags.
I will put the jelly beans away for hubby until next year.
I'd let him have them now but he's dieting for the next 90 days trying to get a good sugar reading for his diabetes exam.

I just got got $2 Walmart cash back on a $7 package of Benadryl. The Benadryl isn’t for me (people with dementia in their family shouldn’t take Benadryl), but for my dog who has swelling under her right eye. My rescue friend thinks maybe she got an insect bite.

I thought getting pork steaks for $1.69 was a bargain considering at Walmart they've jumped to $3.97 a pound. Outrageous considering just a year ago they were $1.94 a pound. As for jellybeans, personally I am not a fan of them. But hey, that was Reagan's thing, so your hubby is in good company. Glad you found a good deal.

We use the local CVS for the most part for son’s prescriptions. You may know that they print out coupons and receipts etc and present the endlessly long thing to the customer. I always check those receipts out, I like the $2 reward coupons( sadly not good for meds or sale items) but I put them to good use. I usually use them for household items that we use on a regular basis. The last time I had two long receipts and two rewards coupons. I purchased two large boxes of tissues and when all was said and done, they cost me.12 cents. I call that a big win!!

Vince's sugar level goes up if he eats too much sugar. We've had a few bargains in the meat department lately.
