It sounds weird to say, but I ordered a skin tag remover. This contains salycilic acid which wart remover contains and bee venom. People say it is gentle and really works. I guess some people know that bee venom aids in the treatment of MS, and perhaps other diseases like Parkinsons. I am not exactly sure how it works in the treatment of these things, but apparently it can be effective. Do you know anyone who used bee venom for anything?

So do you paint this stuff on the tag you want to remove?
Is it really painless?

I haven't used it yet. I am expecting it to be 99 percent pain free.

@DianneN I think it is a new thing for treatments. Mine aren't visible to anybody else, but I know they are there besides being unsightly, they can get irritated which is a PIA too.

@snowy22315 I just looked them up. Yes, I have seen them on some women. They are usually removed by dermatologists, but can be removed with salicylic acid. The bee venom wasn’t mentioned. Learn something new every time I am here.

I will be seeing my brother in laws brother when I go to the wedding in September. He has MS, I will try to remember to ask him if he uses bee venom at all. His health seems pretty stable though for the most part and hasn't become dependent on a wheelchair or other devices as far as I know. I do know one time though he had some kind of event I think a seizure and an ambulance had to be called.

Skin tags and warts are different. Certain kinds of warts are more difficult to remove than others.

@snowy22315 - Mine was a wart on a finger. I used a kit I bought in a pharmacy, but it did not work. So I went to see a dermatologist who removed it professionally. I do not even see the scar.

Yeah, not sure how common it is, but it is being used. You know how honey makes sore throats better..is actually a low grade antibiotic and has lots of B vitamins..so not sure if that is what behind the venom or not..seems more like it would be a stimulant or something.

@snowy22315 I haven't heard how it works. But many things people try to avoid are actually good for them

@wolfgirl569 That's true being exposed to many things when young prevents allergies when you get older.

I’ve heard about it too. Bee stings can help treat various conditions, but some people may have allergic reactions. It’s important to know if you’re allergic before trying it, as such reactions can be severe and even life-threatening for those affected.

Not allergic to bee stings, good point though.

I’ve been stung by a bee, and it didn’t give me any health benefits that I am aware of.
Here you can use cryotherapy to remove skin tags. It’s quick and very successful. You can buy it over the counter or get a dermatologist to do it for you.

It costs big bucks to have a dermatologist do it for you. I don't know if cryotherapy options OTC are available here.

I don't know of anyone using bee venom for anything. How did the tag treatment go?

It was OK. It takes a few weeks though for it to dry up and fall off though I think.
